 Making, Bottling & Labeling

We are licenced by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO - successor to the LCBO) as a "brew on premises" wine making facility. This allows you to come to our store to select, make and bottle your own wine.

You are required to mix all the ingredients and pay for your wine at this time. This process takes approx. 5 minutes for each batch (usually 23 litres) and for your convenience we accept VISA, Mastercard, Interac, personal cheques and, of course, cash. We supply you with a printed receipt and record of your wine making session which includes a date for bottling your wine - which can be in as little as 4 weeks from the time you make it.

WE ALSO SUPPLY KITS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE HOME WINE MAKER

Before you return to bottle your wine - also a requirement of our Licence - we will have attended to the various stages required to complete the wine making process, including filtration through our uniquely designed system.

Bottling takes approx. 30 minutes per batch - a little longer if you decide to put on labels and shrink tops here in our store. Your wine is then ready to be taken home for your enjoyment - although some selections will benefit from a certain amount of aging in the bottle.

Prices vary according to your selection and include all taxes and the cost of corks. Most customers supply their own clean wine bottles although new ones can be purchased from us for $1.00 each (750 ml Green Bordeaux style). Varietal or custom labels and shrink tops are also available, if desired.
